The New Jersey Good Standing Certificate(officially referred to as the Short Form Standing) is an official document issued bearing the seal of the New Jersey Department of Treasury that certifies that the legal entity is registered with the State of New Jersey and is Good Standing with all State required formalities.
The Office of the New Jersey Department of Treasury will issue a Certificate of Good Standing to any domestic or foreign profit, nonprofit corporation or LLC/LLP that was duly registered or formed within the State of New Jersey and has met the following requirements.
Requirements to be eligible for a Certificate of Good Standing: • Your entity must be registered within your State as a Corporation, LLC or LLP
• You must have timely filed all annual reporting as required by your State
• Your entity must have paid all State mandated fees and taxes in a timely fashion
