North Carolina Certificate of Existence

The North Carolina Certificate of Existence (Also referred to as the North Carolina Good Standing Certificate or North Carolina Certificate of Status) is an official document issued by the North Carolina Secretary of State issues a Certificate of Existence to any legal entity that is in good standing with the State of North Carolina and is compliance with all state required formalities.

Upon application to the North Carolina Secretary of State a Certificate of Existence will be granted to any domestic or foreign profit and nonprofit corporation, limited liability company that was duly registered or formed within the State of North Carolina and is in good standing.
